As a social enterprise, our mission was to provide support and employment opportunities to individuals facing homelessness. It’s a noble cause, but it also comes with its fair share of challenges.

One of the biggest obstacles we faced was the unexpected mental health crisis that our staff members would experience. One day they would be fine, and the next day they would be grappling with anxiety and past trauma. At first, it was a difficult reality to navigate, and it often meant that other staff members had to step in and pick up the load when someone needed extra care and support.

Despite these challenges, we remained committed to our mission. We knew that the work we were doing was making a real difference in the lives of our employees. It wasn’t easy, but it was a labor of love. We saw the impact of our efforts every day, and that was what kept us going.

Being the only company in Sydney doing this kind of work from the grassroots, we know the importance of what we are doing. It’s not just about providing jobs; it’s about investing in the well-being of our staff and giving them the care and support they need to thrive.
